INTRODUCTION

The message presented in this lesson is a divine reminder that God is Endless, Eternal, and Everlasting. He alone is the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and there is no being in existence who can compare to Him in majesty, power, and sovereignty. Humanity has witnessed throughout history countless spiritual deviations—idol worship, false gods, demonic systems, and deceptive philosophies. Yet amid all the noise, there remains One True God whose power is unmatched and whose presence fills the universe. Sadly, many who claim to follow Christ have become passive, spiritually dull, distracted, or captivated by self-centered ambitions, forgetting the sacred call to serve the Living God with purity, passion, and purpose.

This lesson explores the tragic reality that while millions across the world are trapped in idolatry and demonic oppression, many believers who are called to carry the Gospel have become indifferent. The fields of harvest are ready, but the laborers are either asleep or entangled in worldly pursuits. God expresses deep concern and dissatisfaction with those who have exchanged their divine mandate for personal comfort, ambition, and recognition. He confronts the idol of self, exposing how pride, convenience, and self-preservation have replaced obedience, sacrifice, and service.

We are reminded that Jesus set the perfect example of humility, unity with the Father, and unwavering obedience to His mission. He demonstrated a life free from self-promotion, committed to glorifying the Father and fulfilling His mandate. The early disciples followed in the same pattern, empowered by the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, and advance the Kingdom without fear or compromise.

This teaching invites every believer to reflect deeply on their calling, their spiritual posture, and their alignment with God’s purpose. It emphasizes that salvation is not for self-indulgence but for service. The Eternal God calls His people to reject idolatry, abandon self-ambition, and walk fully in obedience to His will. The standard of holiness, submission, and service has not changed. The expectations God had for biblical generations remain binding today.

This is a call to rediscover divine purpose, rekindle zeal for the Gospel, and embrace the honor of serving the Endless, Eternal, and Everlasting God.

THE ENDLESS, ETERNAL, AND EVERLASTING GOD

God introduces Himself as the Endless, Eternal, and Everlasting One. This statement is not merely a theological declaration; it is a reality that defines the foundation of true worship. God existed before time and will continue beyond all ages. No idol, spirit, or created entity bears the attributes of eternal existence.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” — Revelation 1:8

Unlike idols, which are formed by human hands and empowered by demons, God alone is the source of life, power, mercy, and miracles. He desires His people to understand His greatness so they may walk in awe, reverence, and obedience.

THE TRAGEDY OF IDOLATRY AND DEMONIC DECEPTION

The message emphasizes that multitudes worldwide are enslaved by idolatry. Their gods cannot hear, cannot save, cannot deliver, and cannot speak. These idols are nothing but spiritual traps controlled by demons.

“They have mouths, but they do not speak; eyes they have, but they do not see.” — Psalm 115:5

The spiritual blindness of idol worshipers is not merely cultural—it is demonic. When they encounter the Gospel, some are delivered and embrace Christ, while others violently resist the Truth because demonic powers fight to retain control over their souls.

Where the Gospel is not preached, idolatry thrives. Where disciples are silent, darkness dominates. God laments that many remain lost simply because His messengers refuse to go.

THE FAILURE OF THOSE CALLED TO SERVE

A painful truth emerges: while those in darkness cry out for deliverance, many Christians called to serve have lost their zeal. They are preoccupied with careers, comfort, entertainment, and personal advancement.

“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” — Matthew 9:37

God explains that the greatest idol of this age is self. Many believers claim they are working for God, yet their motives revolve around personal glory. They promote themselves, seek human approval, build their own names, and chase after recognition.

God sees through all of it.

He is not impressed by self-centered achievements performed in His name. He grieves that many have shut out the Holy Spirit’s conviction and no longer feel the burden for lost souls.

THE SIN OF SELF-EXALTATION AND THE STENCH OF PRIDE

Pride is described as an abomination to God—a spiritual stench He cannot tolerate. Those who work to elevate themselves rather than God will find no reward in the Eternal Kingdom.

“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” — James 4:6

People may applaud them. Crowds may celebrate them. But heaven rejects their works because the motive is impure. God makes it clear that when individuals stand before Him, the endorsements and praises of men will be worthless.

Only obedience will matter.

Only faithfulness will stand.

Only humility will be rewarded.

THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS: HUMILITY, UNITY, AND PURE OBEDIENCE

Jesus sets the perfect example of what God expects. He did not seek recognition, applause, or a platform. He walked in absolute unity with the Father, free from pride and self-promotion.

“I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges.” — John 8:50

Jesus knew the deceitfulness of the human heart and refused to entertain pride, even when people tried to exalt Him after miracles. He remained focused on His mission, modeling humility, service, and total obedience.

He commanded His disciples to imitate Him and empowered them through the Holy Spirit to continue His works.

“As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” — John 20:21

The same mandate applies today.

THE CALL TO DENY SELF, TAKE UP THE CROSS, AND SERVE

Jesus left a clear instruction for anyone who desires to follow Him.

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.” — Luke 9:23

To deny self is to reject personal ambition, ego, and comfort. The cross represents sacrifice, obedience, and total surrender. Following Jesus is not a casual lifestyle; it is a disciplined commitment to serve God’s purpose above all else.

Those who obey are called faithful.

Those who reject are counted as rebels.

THE ETERNAL STANDARD REMAINS UNCHANGED

God emphasizes that His standards have not shifted. The call to obedience, holiness, humility, and service remains exactly as it was for the early disciples and the generations of Scripture.

The Endless, Eternal, and Everlasting Kingdom welcomes only those who served faithfully—not those who lived for themselves while pretending to serve God.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23

The ultimate honor is to be counted worthy of eternal reward. God desires His people to live not for self, but for Him.

God calls His people to deny themselves, take up the cross, and follow Christ with purity, passion, and uncompromised obedience. The eternal standard remains unchanged: salvation is not for self-pleasure but for service to God and the advancement of His Kingdom.

CONCLUSION

God’s message is a solemn and urgent wake-up call. He reminds us that His Kingdom is eternal, His power is unmatched, and His call is holy. He warns that those who continue living for themselves while ignoring His mandate will face eternal consequences. But He invites all who are willing to repent, surrender, and renew their commitment to genuine service. The Eternal God seeks servants, not performers. He seeks obedience, not ambition. He seeks humility, not pride. The question each believer must answer is simple: Will you serve self, or will you serve the Endless, Eternal, and Everlasting God?
